This is the principal organization in the United States for
providing headache education to patients and physicians. The AHS
journal, Headache, is one of the most popular resources for headache
specialists. Additionally, the organization arranges several conferences
per year that allow American physicians to gather and discuss modern
treatment approaches to migraine.

The institute, founded by Dr. Richard Gans, is an excellent
education resource and his vestibular rehabilitation courses are
highly recommended. Additionally, a computerized version of the
dynamic visual acuity test and foam pads for balance testing can
be purchased from the AIB website.

A very informative site, providing both information about vestibular
testing and clinical information about vestibular and balance disorders.
Probably one of the more content-rich resources on the net. Dr.
Timothy Hain's most useful publications are listed here. Navigation
through the site, however, can be somewhat confusing.

HCI is one of the largest suppliers of audiological and vestibular
equipment in central California. Customer service is excellent and
the company can be very helpful with selecting equipment that meets
your specific requirements.

WSR is headed by Dennis P. O'Leary, Ph.D. and Linda Davis-O'Leary,
RN, BA. The company manufactures the vestibular autorotation test
(VAT) as well as a very reasonably priced electrode-based ENG system.
Customer support is excellent and their equipment is highly recommended
for those who are starting a balance assessment clinic.

Manufacturers of infrared video equipment for recording eye
movements. The four-channel system may be the most accurate for
oculomotor testing in neurological patients. Also, they provide
light and comfortable video goggles that are excellent for testing
and treating patients with positional vertigo.

Makers of instrumentation for testing Voltage-actuated Nerve
Conduction Thresholds (V-sNCT). At California Headache & Balance
Center, we use V-sNCT as a screening test for peripheral nerve disorders
that can lead to imbalance. Additionally, V-sNCT can be useful in
diagnosing cervical radiculopathies that lead to neck pain and posterior
headache.
